Corporate Identity

Overview: Premier Oilfield Group integrates reservoir rock and fluid measurements across multiple disciplines to deliver completions and reservoir solutions in unconventional and conventional plays. Our proven workflows deliver timely, relevant data by doing the right experiments, doing those experiments right, and providing client-ready, fit-for-use results. Additionally, Premier utilizes its vast expertise to answer critical questions through analysis and simulation. Finally, Premier integrates diverse measurements to diagnose and match actual well performance, and to design future development strategies.

Problem: Multiple mergers and acquisition caused the company to have to form under a new name. Therefore, “Premier Oilfield Laboratories” was changed to “Premier Oilfield Group” or POFG for short. So an all new corporate identity and visual language was need to effectively communicate their new services and company direction. 

Solution: POFG was positioned as the o&g lab company with a data driven approach and expert technicians. A forward thinking tech look and imagery was used for the overall color scheme and design style of the identity. An abstract approach of the letter P was used for the icon of the logo paired with heavy and bold lettering to stand out even in the smallest of promo items. The result was a bold and confident look that makes them stand out as a new company.
